The Diagnosis.

A man visits his doctor feeling seriously ill and asks how much time he has left. The doctor calmly replies, “Ten.” Alarmed, the patient asks, “Ten months or ten weeks?” The doctor looks at his watch and says, “Nine…” leaving the poor man even more confused!

Another patient complains that touching his shoulder, knee, or forehead causes unbearable pain. After examining him, the doctor quickly discovers the problem: the man’s finger is broken! Every time he touches another part of his body, he is using that injured finger.

Meanwhile, a patient waiting for surgery becomes increasingly nervous after hearing a nurse repeatedly say, “Don’t worry. It’s only a small operation.” Finally, he jumps off the operating table and runs away. The nurse is surprised, but the patient soon discovers the truth: she wasn’t talking to him. She was trying to calm down the surgeon!

At a psychiatric hospital, a doctor draws a door on the wall and challenges the patients to escape. Everyone rushes forward, trying to open the imaginary door. Everyone except one man, who remains seated, smiling confidently. Curious, the doctor asks why he isn’t joining the others. The man leans forward and whispers, “Because I’m the one with the key!”

Finally, a 90-year-old woman visits her doctor with an unusual complaint. She regularly passes gas but cannot hear or smell anything. The doctor prescribes medication and asks her to return a week later. When she comes back, she complains that although she still cannot hear anything, the smell has become terrible. The doctor smiles and says, “Excellent! We’ve fixed your sense of smell. Now, let’s work on your hearing!”

The moral? Doctors may have serious jobs, but sometimes their patients provide the best comedy!
