Trump Fires Back With Blunt 6-Word Statement After Epstein Photos Resurface

Trump Responds to Resurfaced Epstein Photos With Blunt Six Words

Former President Donald Trump dismissed questions about newly uncovered photos and video footage linking him to Jeffrey Epstein with a six-word response: “You’ve got to be kidding me.”

The resurfaced images include footage from a 1999 Victoria’s Secret event and a photo from Trump’s 1993 wedding to Marla Maples, confirming Epstein’s attendance. Photographer Dafydd Jones, who covered the wedding, said he likely captured Epstein and Trump together, though most negatives were lost.

Trump has previously claimed he had “no problem” releasing Epstein-related documents. In February 2025, Attorney General Pamela Bondi released a partial set of files. However, by July, Trump’s DOJ stated it found “no basis” to release more and claimed there was “no incriminating” client list.

This led to public speculation that Trump was hiding information, especially after his administration declined further transparency. When asked about the photos, Trump called the renewed focus “fake news” and brushed it off.

White House Communications Director Steven Cheung defended Trump, calling the images “out-of-context frame grabs” and claiming they were being used maliciously to infer wrongdoing.

Cheung emphasized that Trump eventually banned Epstein from his properties, calling the late financier “a jerk.” He accused liberal media of continuing to push false narratives.

Though Trump and Epstein were seen at several public events in the 1980s and ’90s, reports suggest they fell out in the early 2000s over a Palm Beach real estate deal.

Despite the controversy, Trump has stated he plans to release grand jury files involving Epstein. Critics remain skeptical, while his supporters argue the media coverage is politically motivated.

As the 2024 campaign heats up, Trump’s ties to Epstein are once again under intense scrutiny.
