Trans influencer slams declining masculinity

Ali C. Lopez, a plus-size transgender woman and social media influencer from Arizona, has gone viral for her bold takes on gender roles and modern masculinity.

Known for her controversial appearance on the Whatever podcast, Lopez gained massive online attention after declaring herself “a fat f***ing ten,” a comment that birthed the viral meme “Gorlock the Destroyer.”

While she admits the nickname still stings at times, Lopez is learning to embrace the attention. “There are days where it bothers me,” she said in an interview with Fox News Digital. “But I’m still fairly new to being viral—it’s exciting, scary, and overwhelming all at once.”

With over 500,000 TikTok followers, Lopez shares everything from beauty tutorials to heartfelt stories about her transition. But it’s her commentary on dating that has stirred the most debate. She criticizes what she sees as the decline of traditional masculinity, saying modern men expect “princess treatment” and often fall short of handling basic responsibilities.

“If I have to call my dad to do something you can’t, why are you here?” she asks. Lopez favors some traditional gender roles, noting, “I like when there’s a little bit of that, like ‘I’m the man and I’m going to take charge.’”

Online reactions are mixed. Critics mock her appearance, while supporters praise her confidence and resilience.

Despite the backlash, Lopez continues to share her journey, unapologetically challenging norms and advocating for authenticity in the face of harsh scrutiny.
