Nancy Grace Shares New Photo of Her Twins, Igniting Buzz about Her ‘So Tall’ Son

Nancy Grace surprised fans this week with a heartwarming — and viral — family photo that had everyone talking, not just for its autumn charm but for her son’s surprising height.

On November 2, 2025, the veteran journalist shared a rare Instagram photo with her 18-year-old twins, John David and Lucy Elizabeth, during their annual visit to Burt’s Pumpkin Patch. Surrounded by golden fall trees, John David stood between his mom and sister — towering over both. Grace captioned the post, “Yearly Trek to Burt’s Pumpkin Patch for pumpkins and boiled peanuts! Have a great Sunday!!”

Within minutes, the comments exploded with affection and surprise. “He’s twice your height!” one fan wrote, while another joked, “What are you feeding that boy, Nancy?” Many marveled at how fast the twins had grown up, recalling when Grace first spoke about them as babies on air.

Just days earlier, Grace had celebrated their milestone birthday with an emotional Facebook post, sharing a throwback photo and writing, “MY MIRACLE BABIES! ONCE IN A LIFETIME! HAPPY BIRTHDAY AWESOME AND MINIME!!!”

Born on November 4, 2007, John David and Lucy Elizabeth arrived prematurely when Grace was 48. Their birth followed a complicated pregnancy that nearly cost her life. Only a week later, she suffered a severe pulmonary embolism — a blood clot in her lungs — and spent months recovering in a wheelchair.

Her husband, David Linch, told People she was “doing pretty doggone good,” but Grace later revealed how close she had come to death. The experience, she said, completely reshaped her perspective on love and motherhood.

“Before I had the babies, I never really let myself love 100%. Lucy and John David changed all that,” she shared.

Eighteen years later, fans now celebrate her “miracle babies” — grown, thriving, and still the biggest blessing of her life.
