A man named Alan starts his morning like any other, walking to the bakery for breakfast with his mother. On the way, he notices a broken, abandoned phone on the ground and, driven by curiosity, picks it up, unaware it will change his life.
At home, he checks the phone’s SIM card in his own device. Instead of random contacts, he finds mostly hospitals and schools, and only one saved favorite contact labeled “Daughter,” which immediately raises questions in his mind.
He decides to call the number. A young girl answers and calls out for her mother, but quickly realizes something is wrong. She explains her mother went out the previous day and never returned, leaving her alone and confused.
The girl, Julie, reveals she lives alone and cannot walk, as she uses a wheelchair. She gives her address and admits she is scared and struggling without anyone to help her in the house.
Alan rushes to the apartment with his mother. Inside, they find Julie, a small child in poor condition, alone and hungry. They promise to help her and immediately try to figure out what happened to her mother.
Searching for answers, Alan discovers news about a woman hit by a car and hospitalized in critical condition. He contacts the hospital and learns the injured woman is likely Julie’s missing mother.
At the hospital, they meet Victoria, who explains she was struggling alone, raising her daughter after a difficult life and divorce. She was injured while trying to get medicine for Julie and feared leaving her behind.
Alan helps bring the family back together, supports Julie’s treatment, and arranges surgery that improves her condition. Over time, Julie recovers, Victoria heals, and what began as a random discovery turns into a new family built on kindness, care, and hope for the future.
