Little Girl’s Bruises Kept

During her honeymoon, Aimee Partridge noticed bruises on her daughter Brogan’s legs, unaware they were signs of meningitis. Initially misdiagnosed with an eye infection, Brogan’s condition worsened, leading to the amputation of her left foot to save her life.

Despite being fitted with a prosthetic, ongoing infections caused severe pain in her remaining leg, forcing the family to make the heartbreaking decision to amputate it as well. Now nine years old, Brogan is adapting to life with prosthetics.

Aimee stresses the importance of early recognition of meningitis symptoms and reflects on the family’s tough journey to ensure Brogan’s health and well-being.
