I haven’t spoken to them”: Caitlyn Jenner shares family matters in a new interview. She is hurt

Caitlyn Jenner recently opened up about her strained relationship with the Kardashians, coinciding with her appearance in the Sky documentary House of Kardashian. The 73-year-old revealed in an interview with The Sun that she has minimal contact with her stepdaughters Kim, Khloe, and Kourtney Kardashian, as well as her ex-wife Kris Jenner.

Jenner admitted she hasn’t spoken to Kim or Kris in some time, signaling a clear distance from the family she once lived so closely with. Reports suggest Kris is “furious” about the documentary teaser, adding to the tension between them.

Reflecting on her life since coming out publicly as a trans woman over eight years ago, Jenner said she now feels free from the constraints of beauty standards. In the early days of her transition, she took her appearance very seriously, but today, she enjoys simply “waking up in the morning and being myself.”

Despite the rift, Jenner looks back fondly on her time filming Keeping Up With The Kardashians, which spanned over 400 episodes. She cherishes the chance it gave her to watch her daughters Kendall and Kylie grow up on screen.

She also expressed pride in her children’s achievements. Jenner highlighted Kendall and Kylie’s bond and applauded their individual successes, pointing out how Kylie’s entrepreneurial drive led to ventures like Kylie Cosmetics.

Caitlyn also praised Kim Kardashian’s business ventures, such as SKIMS, acknowledging the determination that fueled the family’s commercial empire.

While discussing the perks of wealth, Jenner shared a candid truth: financial success does not ensure happiness. She recalled being content even when she had little, emphasizing that money alone can’t bring fulfillment.

Her story now is one of resilience and self-discovery — a life once defined by public family ties now shaped by personal authenticity and independence.
