Phil Robertson, the beloved patriarch of “Duck Dynasty” and founder of Duck Commander, passed away at 78 on May 25, 2025. His family shared the news on social media, expressing faith that he is now with the Lord. They recalled how Phil often reminded them of the Bible’s message of resurrection and eternal life.

Phil’s son, Jase Robertson, announced the passing on X, reflecting the family’s belief in reunion and their sadness tempered by faith. Granddaughter Sadie Robertson Huff shared a touching memory of his encouragement: “One of the last things he said to me was ‘full strength ahead!’ Amen!” She described his spiritual impact as transformative, saying he is now “fully alive in Christ.”

Grandson Will Robertson posted a childhood photo, honoring Phil’s powerful testimony and devotion to God, expressing gratitude for his legacy and imagining him “sitting in his recliner talking to Jesus.”

Before his death, Phil faced serious health challenges. Jase revealed on their “Unashamed” podcast that Phil had early-stage Alzheimer’s and a blood disorder. The family arranged professional care to support him during his decline. Meanwhile, Phil’s wife, Kay Robertson, suffered a severe infection after a fall but later improved.

Despite these hardships, the family announced the return of “Duck Dynasty” with a 20-episode revival series set to air, produced by Spoke Studios and Tread Lively Productions. Willie and Korie Robertson, executive producers, expressed excitement about sharing new family adventures on screen.
