A Chinese restaurant in Madrid’s Usera district was shut down following a disturbing police raid that uncovered serious health code violations. Authorities discovered unlabeled meat and fish, a cockroach-infested kitchen, and a strong stench of rotting seafood.

In a particularly horrifying detail, plucked pigeons—allegedly taken from the streets and kicked to death—were found in the kitchen.

Behind a hidden bathroom shelf, officers uncovered a concealed room holding 300 kg of spoiled food in rusted freezers, rat traps, and meat drying on a clothesline.

The restaurant, Jin Gu, was immediately closed by health inspectors.
