These light sources, common in most bedrooms, may silently increase your risk of skin damage and even skin cancer over time.

Blue light, or high-energy visible (HEV) light, penetrates the skin more deeply than UVA and UVB rays from the sun. Studies have shown that prolonged exposure can cause DNA damage in skin cells, lead to premature aging, trigger hyperpigmentation, and in some cases, increase the risk of developing skin cancer.
