Elon Musk catches everyone off guard right after Trump’s bill gets approved by Congress

Elon Musk Clashes with Trump, Launches “America Party”

Elon Musk reignited political tensions with a post on X, slamming the Trump-backed tax-cut and spending bill, which recently passed Congress. Musk called the legislation “a disgusting abomination” and criticized lawmakers for supporting it.

Former President Trump responded on Truth Social, accusing Musk of opposing the bill due to its plan to eliminate electric vehicle mandates. Trump claimed Musk had received more subsidies “than any human being in history” and suggested that without them, Musk would have to “head back home to South Africa.”

The feud escalated when Musk, once a Trump ally and former head of DOGE during his administration, announced the formation of a third political party—the “America Party.” Musk launched the idea with a poll on X, writing: “Should we create the America Party?” After receiving overwhelming support, he declared, “You shall have it!”

“The America Party is formed to give you back your freedom,” Musk wrote. “We live in a one-party system, not a democracy.”

Forbes later reported that Trump hinted at possibly stripping government funding from Musk’s companies and even exploring the legality of deporting him.

Musk’s political pivot stunned many, marking a significant break from the GOP and sparking speculation about the impact a third party could have on upcoming elections.

The ongoing clash highlights deeper rifts in American politics, with Musk now positioning himself as a disruptor of the two-party system.

Stay tuned—this political saga is just getting started.
