Elvis Presley’s 1962 Private Jet Is Up For Auction – Here’s How It Looks Inside

Elvis Presley’s Iconic Jet Hits the Auction Block

Elvis Presley’s legendary 1962 Lockheed 1329 JetStar is back on the market, offering fans a chance to own a piece of rock and roll history. Bought by Elvis in 1976 for $840,000, the jet features red velvet swivel chairs, wood paneling, an entertainment cabinet, and more—all reflecting the King’s signature style.

After Elvis’s death in 1977, the aircraft ended up in a Roswell, New Mexico graveyard and last sold at auction in 2017 for $430,000. Now listed by Mecum Auctions, the plane—though engine-less and in need of restoration—is being marketed as a unique opportunity for collectors.

The new owner will also receive documents signed by Presley, adding historic value. With its retro charm and deep ties to Elvis’s life and legacy, this aircraft could become an unforgettable exhibit honoring music royalty.
