Skyla Morales had always been labeled difficult and overly intense by her family, but she had simply learned to recognize patterns and protect herself. The conflict began when Bridget asked Skyla to co-sign a $50,000 loan for her luxury skincare business. Skyla reviewed the paperwork and discovered questionable financial projections, unpaid taxes, and hidden debt, so she refused.
