Ethan ‘ModBoy’ Bramble, a body modification enthusiast from Australia, has made headlines for his extreme appearance—and now, for his regrets. With over 200 tattoos and various procedures including a split tongue and removed belly button, Ethan began altering his body at just 11 years old by stretching his ears.

While self-expression through tattoos is increasingly common, Ethan took it much further, spending around $60,000 AUD (about $39,000 USD) on his look. His extensive facial tattoos have drawn the most attention—and now, concern from Ethan himself.

Speaking on LadBibleTV’s No Filter, he admitted: “I guess you could say I regret some tattoos… not just regret, I think there’s a difference between regret and wanting to be perceived differently.” He reflected on how his appearance might affect others, particularly when performing daily tasks like taking his young daughter to school.

“The face is a big thing… I wish I had not gone as hectic as I did on my face,” he said. To change that, Ethan has started painful laser treatments to remove his tattoos.

“I’ve been getting laser for 12 months… gone over the full thing six or seven times,” he explained. “I started because of anxiety… I want to think that a lot of the anxiety was from just having a face full of tattoos.”

Though content with his appearance, Ethan is also happy to gradually “clear the canvas.” His transformation is ongoing, and he hopes to feel more at ease with how the world perceives him in the future.
