Alina Habba Says Federal Workers Not ‘America First’ Will Be Let Go

Earlier this month, Alina Habba, White House counselor and former lawyer to Donald Trump, made headlines with a bold statement on Fox News regarding federal employees.

During an appearance with Sean Hannity, Habba said that under a future Trump administration, any Executive Branch employees lacking an “America First” mindset would be fired. Hannity questioned why Trump shouldn’t be allowed to choose his own team, citing concerns over deep state influence and opposition from figures like Special Counsel Jack Smith.

Habba responded strongly: “To all the liberals freaking out—yes, let’s get started.” She added that political bias and institutional resistance within the government have created an environment of “injustice” and legal politicization.

She implied that loyalty to Trump’s vision would be a requirement for federal roles, signaling a possible shake-up in how future administrations could handle government staffing.
