Captain Jason Vance expected nothing more than another ordinary flight, the kind pilots complete without remembering every detail afterward. The skies were calm at first, interrupted only by a few birds drifting near the aircraft, something common enough not to raise concern. But within minutes, the peaceful flight transformed into chaos as an enormous flock suddenly swarmed the plane.
