Peter, a privileged young man, demands ownership of his father’s hotel. His father challenges him to run it for a day, warning him to treat all guests with respect. Confident, Peter begins his trial, only to be frustrated by a singing homeless man outside the hotel. After trying to chase him away, Peter is forced to let him stay when the man pays for a room.

Later, Peter plants a guest’s missing watch in the homeless man’s room to get him arrested. The police take the man away despite his protests of innocence. The next morning, Peter expects praise, but his father shocks him—he was the homeless man in disguise, testing Peter’s character.

Disappointed by Peter’s lack of integrity, Mr. Greenwood revokes his access to his \$5 million trust. Humbled and ashamed, Peter learns that true leadership is built not on power or wealth—but on character and respect for others.
