Kristi leaned in, lowering her voice. “I’m a flight attendant. I worked the business class section on Flight 447 two days ago. I need access to passenger records—there’s something really wrong, and I need to prove it.”
The representative’s smile faded, replaced by a more cautious expression. “I’m sorry, but passenger information is confidential unless there’s an official investigation or you have the proper clearance.”
Kristi sighed. “I understand. But maybe you could just tell me if a woman named Isabella was on that flight. She was seated next to a man—his name is Edwin. They were… very close.”
The rep hesitated, then looked around and subtly typed something into the computer. After a moment, she glanced back up. “Look, I really shouldn’t be doing this… but yes, there was an Isabella Devereux in business class. And her ticket was paid for by a Mr. Edwin Blackwell.”
Kristi’s heart dropped. There it was. Proof.
“Thank you,” she whispered, turning to leave. She had a name, a record, and a timeline. Enough to start digging.
It was time to uncover Edwin’s game—and stop him before he shattered her mother’s heart.
