What my wife’s rejection taught me about self-worth

My wife Emma has always had a unique sense of style, and her self-confidence is truly inspiring. However, one day, her confidence was shattered when a clerk at her favorite lingerie store humiliated her. Emma, looking for a job, excitedly asked about applying, only to be told, “I don’t think you’re pretty enough for this job. NO CHANCE.” Devastated, she came home in tears.

Furious, I decided to teach the clerk a lesson. I called my friend Mike, a talent scout, and we returned to the store the next day. Mike pretended to be looking for a model and, after the clerk eagerly posed for him, he turned to Emma and said, “Have you considered modeling? You’d be perfect.” Meanwhile, the clerk was rejected.

Though Emma felt sorry for her, I wanted her to remember that true self-worth comes from within, not from others’ opinions.
