Extent of Donald Trump’s dark hand bruising revealed days after he covered it up

Fresh questions about Donald Trump’s health have surfaced after observers noticed unusual bruises on his right hand. The 79-year-old president appeared to conceal the discoloration with makeup, prompting speculation despite his repeated claims of being in “excellent health.”

During interviews at the Oval Office’s Resolute Desk, Trump was seen keeping his left hand over his right, seemingly trying to cover the marks. White House officials and his physician insist the bruises are minor and nothing to worry about.

Dr. Sean Barbabella, Trump’s physician, explained the injury as “soft tissue irritation from frequent handshaking and the use of aspirin,” noting that aspirin is part of the president’s routine cardiovascular prevention regimen.

Even as speculation mounted, Trump carried on with official business. On Monday, he signed an executive order directing the Justice Department to pursue charges against those who burn the American flag, calling it an act that “incites riots at levels we’ve never seen before.”

In a lengthy speech at the White House, Trump also criticized the media for failing to credit him for what he described as a successful crackdown on crime and immigration. He mocked critics who accused him of authoritarianism, quipping, “Maybe we like a dictator,” before quickly adding, “I dislike dictators. I’m a smart man with excellent common sense.”

Despite his reassurances, Trump was again spotted with makeup smudges on his right hand during a museum visit in Washington, D.C. Later, at a World Cup event in the Oval Office, the cover-up was still visible.

These incidents follow earlier photos showing Trump with swollen ankles, fueling ongoing speculation about his overall health.

The White House continues to dismiss such concerns, insisting the president remains fit to serve despite persistent public debate.
