A tragic murder-suicide in Dalton, Georgia has left two families grieving after Kevin Akins, 37, fatally shot his estranged wife, Rebeca Akins, 35, and pregnant girlfriend, Cindel Rhoden, 33, before taking his own life.

Police discovered Rebeca’s body during a welfare check on May 23. Surveillance showed Kevin at her apartment two days earlier. The next day, police found Kevin and Cindel—who was five months pregnant—dead at her home.

Both women’s families have launched GoFundMe pages to cover funeral costs and support the children left behind. Rebeca’s sister is seeking \$18,000; Cindel’s family hopes to raise \$20,000.
